Touch a Heart Event

Free Valentine Card Making Workshop to Benefit Soldiers, Vets and Elderly. Art of Recycle will be partnering with Blue Ridge Communications and the Lititz VFW 1463 Auxiliary in the 11th annual community wide “Touch a Heart” campaign.

All of the materials and tools needed to make your special Valentines are provided by Art of Recycle. A card making station is set up in Art of Recycle’s Undersea Room for anyone to stop in to make and drop off Valentine cards from now until February 14th.

Make a card for a veteran, a senior in a nursing home, for a patient in the hospital, or to say thank you to a doctor, nurse, caregiver, or for the many “making a difference” in our communities. It is a day to celebrate and create a message of love to share with your friends and family and to share with people who might not otherwise receive a Valentine card.

When your cards are finished, Art of Recycle and the Lititz VFW 1463 Auxiliary will deliver them to Blue Ridge Communications. U.S. soldiers serving abroad, veterans and residents of local nursing homes will receive handmade and personally signed Valentine’s Day cards this year, thanks to those who participate in Blue Ridge Communications’ 11th Annual “Touch a Heart” Valentine campaign.

ALL AGES are welcome to make a card.
