Civil War Living History Encampment

Visit the Berks County Heritage Center and discover what life was like as a Civil War soldier with members of the 53rd Pennsylvania reenactment unit. Walk through the camp and speak with members of the 53rd.

SATURDAY JUNE 11:

• Enjoy Songs and Stories of the Civil War with folk singer &storyteller Matt Dodd. Performances will take place at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Historic sketch artist Kevin O’Malley demonstrating on site 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Schoolyard games with the Friend’s of the Epler’s One Room Schoolhouse 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
