The full length of Penn Street in center city comes alive with the sights and sounds of the holidays during the annual Reading Holiday Parade! Held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, this family-oriented tradition features colorful floats, holiday-themed music by local school and community bands, and lots of other lively entertainment. Organized and presented by the Reading Downtown Improvement District and the Mayor’s Office of the City of Reading, the Reading Holiday Parade is a great way to kick off the holiday season!
This years theme is: OLD FASHIONED HOLIDAYS
If postponed, the parade will be held Saturday, November 30. The decision to postpone will be made by 6:00 a.m. on November 23.
The parade route begins at 11th & Penn street and disbands at 2nd & Penn street.
