Paranormal Research Demonstration
Please check the event website before attending, to verify the details and make sure there's no change.
October 28, 2018 @ 4:30 pm
The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society will host a program by the Kutztown Area Scientific Paranormal Evidence Research group. This unusual event is a public demonstration growing out of a private paranormal investigation by K.A.S.P.E.R. members. From 4:30 to 6:30 “non–scary” hayrides and bonfire refreshments will be offered. An explanation of paranormal research instruments and techniques will kick off the main program at 6:30, including a “live investigation demonstration.” Then, from 7:15 until 8:30 pm, there’ll be more hayrides, refreshments, and fun at the bonfire. The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the Historic Dreibelbis Farm and to make it available to the public for educational, historical, and environmental purposes.
The 180+ acre farm has been owned by the Dreibelbis family for over 240 years. Built in the 1860’s, the un-remodeled farmhouse has sparked the imagination and touched the “sensitivities” of a number of our visitors. There is a $10 admission donation to benefit the historic farm and on-site parking is free. The event will be held rain or shine, though some of the hayrides and bonfire are subject to decent weather.
The Historic Dreibelbis Farm is located on Route 143 south of the village of Virginville. GPS Address: 356 Hard Hill Road, Hamburg, PA.
