Christmas in the Air

Christmas in the Air is a public outreach program to promote aviation in our community. For many years the RDG Airport Community has come together to donate time and resources to provide a fun filled day at the Reading Regional Airport. This event is for children of all ages! The event includes a craft show, vendors, music, games, activities, visits from Santa and centered around free airplane rides for children.

Free airplane rides are through the Young Eagles program provided by the EAA. Those qualifying for free flights must be between the ages of 8-17 and the legal guardian must apply/sign the day of the event. We will only be able to accept a limited amount of participates due to time and resources. The nature of the event, weather, and volunteers will change the number of participates up to the day of the event. We will provide flights on a first come, first serve basis.
Spread the word as we hope to give kids an experience they’ll never forget! Remember this event is FREE! We have dozens of volunteers, charitable donations and supporters working to put this on. Let’s show them support by coming out to enjoy their hard work!
