Berks Jazz Fest Offers Fantastic, Free Events at Goggleworks!

The Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest, the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, Reading Musical Foundation, The Penske Project, Reading Eagle/Voices, and the Berks Jazz Jam present a special week-long music education experience, featuring a mix of live performances, workshops and film, for jazz fans of all ages. Most of the events are free - and the ones that aren't are workshops offering an amazing chance to learn from a jazz great!

  • Concert: Albright College "Big Cat" Jazz Ensemble
  • Concert: Reading High School "Castleaires"
  • Concert: Berks High School All-Star Jazz Band Alumni Jam hosted and directed by The Nathan Bellott Group

  • Concert: Berks Jazz Jam Music of New Orleans Night Hesse’s Hot 3 featuring Chris Heslop, Josh Taylor, Ken Kemmerer

Thursday, April 11

  • Jazz Film: Dave Brubeck: In His Own Sweet Way
  • Concert: The Music of Dave Brubeck featuring the Erwin Chandler Quartet

All events will be held at the GoggleWorks Theatre located inside the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts at 201 Washington Street in downtown Reading. There is plenty of free parking at the center.
