St. Paul’s United Methodist Church-Geigertown, PA will celebrate our 250th Anniversary with an outdoor festival featuring a 5K Run in the morning, followed by an afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, bounce houses and activities for kids and families.
A Revolutionary War re-enactment campsite is also planned, keeping with the historical significance of our church. We also plan to offer tours of our historic church and cemetery, which was established in 1773, being the third oldest Methodist congregation in the United States.
Our entertainment includes Threefold Blessing, a trio from Birdsboro (2:00-3:00), Think of 3, a contemporay Christian band from Pottstown (3:30-5:00) and Ironwood Drive, a gospel bluegrass band from Lancaster (6:00-8:00).
- 8 am 5k run
- 11:30 – 2 pm Chicken BBQ
- 2 pm ThreeFold Blessing will be performing live!
- 3 pm Children’s Storytime and craft
- 4 pm Think of Three will be performing live!
- Food vendors on site
- 6 pm Ironwood Drive will be performing live!
- 8 pm Fireworks
Nolt’s chicken barbecues will be available, as well as other food and beverages.
The evening will culminate in a fireworks display over the beautiful valley behind the church.
Parking on site and admission are free, and a free shuttle will be available if needed from St. John’s Lutheran Church, just down the road.
Seating will be available for the concerts, or bring your own lawn chairs and enjoy the festivities.
