Maple Sugaring

This two-hour program, led by volunteer Ed Berger, introduces the tree to table process of gathering and preparing sap to make maple syrup. We will identify sugar maple trees on park grounds, tap them and a syrup-making demo will educate guests on how this can be accomplished at home. Then, you’ll get to taste the difference between homemade and store bought syrup!
Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather, as part of the program will be outside.
Inclement Weather may postpone program.
$3/per guest.
