A leadership program to elevate local environmental issues for ages 13-14. Meets once a month.
February 4th - In the first session we will get to know the wetlands at Angelica Creek! Dan Lynch from the PA Game Commission will be a guest to discuss careers and share what types of PA animals can be seen in our wetlands.
March 28th - In this session, Andy Desko from the Fish and Boat Commission will be presenting and teaching us what types of fish/macroinvertebrates will be located in Angelica Creek as well as teach the group how to fish!
April 25th - This is our special hiking day where we will start at Earl Poole Sanctuary, have lunch, and then move on to Neversink Mountain Trails. More details will be provided at the March 28th meeting.
May 16th - GLOBE Day! The group will be involved with learning about what the GLOBE protocols are and implementing what they learn. We will be out most of the time testing water, testing soil, and observing the atmosphere.
