Homeschool Families — Join educators from The Museum for an exciting morning filled with special tours and hands-on projects that the whole family can enjoy! Programs are designed for elementary school age students (younger and older siblings are welcome to participate). Registration is required one week prior to each program.
November 15 — Simple Machines: Learn the science behind how machines are able to handle delicate items such as a single thread to moving and assembling full sized vehicles and even build your own simple machine.
December 13 — Who’s Who of Contemporary Art: Learn what contemporary art is, who contemporary artists are and even make some contemporary art of your own.
January 24 — Animal Habitats & Adaptaions
February 21 — Ice Age - Learn about the Ice Age and how animals were able to adapt to survive in the harsh conditions.
March 14 — Food Science - Want to play with your food? Here’s your chance. Learn how to make gummy bears grow and discover if your breakfast cereal contains iron.
April 18 — Wacky Weather - Learn all about different weather phenomena such as tornadoes, hurricanes and even earthquakes.
May 9 — Space Adventure

September 12 — Monet's Scientific Garden
