Homeschool Families — Join educators from The Museum for an exciting morning filled with special tours and hands-on projects that the whole family can enjoy! Programs are designed for elementary school age students (younger and older siblings are welcome to participate). Registration is required one week prior to each program.

Potent Potions and Creative Concoctions — It’s Halloween! So let’s celebrate my concocting potions and brews that would make a witch proud. Learn about chemical reactions as we use chemistry to make our cauldrons bubble.

Around the World in 2 Hours — Why take 80 days when you could do it in 2 hours? We have many artifacts from all over the world, so let’s take advantage of this and explore all these special and unique cultures.

What’s that noise? — Sound is one of the most important senses in our lives, but how does it work? We’ll explore how our ears capture sound, how it travels through the air, and how sound is used in science and entertainment!

The Mighty Mediterranean — Mare Nostrum, The Roman Lake, The White Sea. These are all names for the Mediterranean that have belonged to some of the most important cultures in history. Let’s learn about how this giant body of water played an important role in almost every major culture in history!
