Come out for a weekend and enjoy some Fall related activities and the Haunted Hollow Happenings for the entire family.
The Parks Department is changing up the Haunted Hollow event this year. From 11AM to 5PM on Saturday, Oct. 8th ONLY we will offer various family-oriented fall activities. Activities will include pumpkin painting by the Woman’s Club of Muhlenberg, crafts, apple launching, carnival games, scarecrow making, a sheet maze administered by the help of the Leo Club, plus the traditional hayride. Saturday is the only time that a traditional hayride will be offered over the weekend.
During the hours of 7 to 10PM on Oct. 7, 8 & 9 Jim Dietrich Park becomes haunted. The Haunted Hayride will travel through the hollow and along the river. Be careful though, you don’t know who’s hiding behind the trees or in the fields! The Haunted Barn will take you on a scary adventure through various passageways of the barn. Be prepared for the fright of your life. Children under 10 should have parental supervision. All wagon rides will be haunted from 7 to 10PM each night. There will be a bonfire to warm you from the chilly fall air. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The Haunted Hayride will be $10/ person, the Haunted Barn will be $10/ person or $16 for both attractions. Other activities at various prices.
